What You Will Learn

In this exercise, you will learn to identify different hook techniques for opening your introductory paragraph.
What You Will Do

Read the following introductory paragraphs. Identify the hook technique that is being used by clicking on the correct technique. If you choose the correct technique, the hook will light up in the paragraph. The Answer box at the bottom of the paragraph will explain why your choice is correct. If you click on a wrong technique, try again.
