Exercise 5 - Making conclusions or generalizations

Instructions: Read the passage and type the logical conclusion or generalization in the box.

Since terminally ill patients are unable to care for themselves, family members must give them constant attention and care. They must spend time with them, bathe, and feed them. If the patient can't move, they must lift them. At the same time, family members watch their loved ones suffer as they are slowly consumed by illness.
