FOS PROGRAM PLAN: Years 3 and 4 of the Forensic Science Program
In years 3 and 4 of the John Jay College Forensic Science Program, you take advanced science courses, courses in a specialized area of forensic science, and complete an internship or research project.
You can choose a program plan from three specialized areas:
In Criminalistics, you analyze physical evidence such as fingerprints, hairs, fibers, glass, bloodstain patterns, and firearms.

In Toxicology, you analyze biological samples for the presence of drugs, poisons, and chemicals, and study their effect on living systems.
